Guest Post by Peter Minkoff | Style Crush: Kylie Jenner

Peter is a fashion stylist and a writer located in Brisbane, Australia. After graduating from Australian Institute of Creative Design,  he worked from many local fashion companies as a trend forecaster. Beside fashion, he loves traveling and roaming through vintage stores. He’s future plans are in creating his own styling business.

Kylie is an American model best known for the reality TV show “Keeping up with the Kardashians”. She collaborated with PacSun, a brand known for youth culture clothing. Her sister Kendall and she have their own clothing line “Kendall & Kylie” and they are famous for writing a book together called “Rebels: City of Indra”. Kylie is the rising star featuring on the covers of many popular teen magazines including Cosmopolitan, Teen Vogue, Marie Claire, Seventeen and Remix.

Hairstyle

Kylie is definitely legendary for her various hairstyles. In 2013, she had long wavy dark brown hair with all-over medium brown highlights. Then she chopped off her signature locks and few months later coloured tresses in blond. She was becoming blond more and more when suddenly she showed off with turquoise ombre. Just when turquoise began to dominate her hair, she dyed her hair black. As her hair grew, she continued playing with it with her signature turquoise ends and finally with grey ombre.

Black head-to-toe

Kylie looked stunning in her black sheer top, high-waisted skinny trousers and black strappy high heels paired with a black jacket. Kylie is definitely an absolute of queen of black crop tops and she looks wonderful wearing them together with black high-waisted pencil skirts. She plays with the 90’s inspired all-black look including a black fringe skirt, a black crop top, black booties and Ray-Ban Lennon sunglasses.

Sexy chic

The youngest of Kardashian sisters was a ravishing beauty in a mini shimmering tangerine dress and nude high heels. She really knows how to pull off the party look as she always looks striking in her party dresses. Check out her Jessica Rabbit-inspired dark red dress by Alexandre Vauthier. She only needs a short white cocktail dress with spaghetti straps and deep V-neckline and a statement necklace to look head-to-toe fabulous.

Underground edge

Black snickers and a black crop top combined with a green tartan pleated skirt is her signature underground look. Skinny ankle pants with black and white horizontal stripes look so gorgeous on Kylie combined with a black blouse and a biker jacket over her shoulders. Black Converse All Star shoes paired with a sexy black dress and a denim jacket is the fantastic combination.

Festival mania

Kylie really knows how to dress up for a music festival. Steal her gorgeous look when she wore a white romper with a light blue coat. She added a nude wide-brimmed fedora and nude strappy high heels. This outfit paired with blue fringe bag is absolutely adorable. For a Coachella 2014, Kyle opted for a band T-shirt, high-waisted denim shorts, knee-high boots and an amazing black hat. She debuted her aquamarine hair for Coachella 2015 looking fabulous in a white high-waisted short and a white crop top combined with a white floor-length sleeveless coat and nude boots.

From the above, you can see that Kylie is not a definitely a classical Kardashian when it comes to her looks. Boho inspired looks for music festivals and underground style is what makes her different but at the same time beautiful and stunning Kardashian sister.
