How to Entertain Yourself on a Rainy Day!

Happy Sunday! Not that Sunday is my favourite day of the week because it's back to school tomorrow but lets make the most of the hours left of today that we aren't at school!!

Today I thought I'd write a little post about things to do on a rainy day because although we don't want to admit it, summer is coming to an end if not over for some people so you may need some ideas of things you can do to keep yourself busy!

Ironically, today is one of the nicest days we've had all summer where I live but were going to ignore that and move on!

The view from outside my window this morning!

I spent my day inside funnily enough! I did a lot of tidying - images inserted below because I'm very proud of myself! I also had Sunday Roast with the family and Matty so that was lovely as well :) What did you get up to this weekend? :)

This is what one side of my wardrobe looked like BEFORE I tidied it...

This is what it looked like AFTER I tidied it...

And finally, this was the transformation the other side of my wardrobe made...(left: before, right: after)

Pretty proud of that if I don't say so myself! Anyway, onto the blog post!

I'm using a load of ideas from Pinterest that I've found because I think Pinterest is the best place for anything like this. If you don't have Pinterest, I highly recommend you get it!

All of the images or ideas have the credit of the source linked :)

Make a jar with loads of ideas of things you could do when you're bored or don't have anything to do, you can use this for days in the future as well as giving you something to do now! Source.

Run a bath and put glowsticks in it! This was actually an idea for kids but who doesn't love a bit of fun!? I've never thought of this before but this looks like so much fun! If you don't have glowsticks in it's definitely worth going out in the rain to get some for this! Source

Grab a book, a hot drink and a blanket and just curl up and chill. There's nothing wrong with relaxing when it's rainy outside! Source.

If you didn't do this as a kid that means you definitely need to do it now! Get some old blankets or bed sheets and just make yourself the perfect princess palace to chill in all day. Has to be done at one point or another! Source.

Why not make yourself a healthy snack? Source.

So, that's the end of that!

This was a slightly different post to normal, maybe you liked it, maybe you didn't! If you got this far you must have enjoyed it or you wouldn't have read till the end! Or you just skipped to the end and didn't read anything above this point but we can just pretend you didn't do that ;)

All of these photos were taken from Pinterest and I have linked all of the sources below the images for you guys to check out the full posts!

I also hope you enjoyed the first full week of my new schedule - today was a lifestyle day so I thought this sort of fitted in with that!

Until tomorrow,

Becca x
